Embrace the Legacy. Ride in Style.

Celebrating HJC's 53rd anniversary and rich Korean heritage, we present the HJC IBEX 3 Dancheong Special Edition road helmet. Inspired by Dancheong, the intricate and vibrant decorative art form that adorned Korean palaces and temples for centuries, this helmet is a stunning tribute to tradition.

More than just a helmet, it's a collector's piece.

  • Limited-edition design: Featuring a captivating Dancheong-inspired graphic, this helmet is a true standout.
  • Premium packaging: Arrives in a special edition box, perfect for collectors.
  • Exclusive accessories: Includes a matching musette bag and keychain for a complete Dancheong experience.
The IBEX 3 is the pinnacle of HJC’s latest technologies, designed to provide riders with a competitive edge in highperformance riding. It is the first of its kind to feature the groundbreaking SELFIT PRO™️, which combines an automatic fitting system with micro-adjustment capabilities. Additionally, it incorporates the innovative SLID™️ technology to minimize rotational impacts and ensure maximum safety.

The IBEX 3 embodies the essence of the HJC’s technology COOLPATH™️, which allows the cool air to flow around your head during the ride in the most optimal way by replacing the inner padding. With lighter weight and better ventilation, the IBEX 3 delivers superior performance.

  • S 51-56 cm
  • M 55-59 cm
  • L 58-63 cm
  • WEIGHT240g (±10)

With a weight of just about 240g and a total of 18 ventilations, this perfectly ventilated helmet will also surprise you with its aerodynamics. It is also equipped with more classic functions such as: adjustable occipital cradle, goggle mount, strap splitters and antibacterial IONIC+ pads.

This helmet comes with spare pads and a bag to protect the helmet when you take it with you.

SELFIT PRO™️ is the culmination of HJC’s five decades of expertise in helmet technology, developed in collaboration with professional riders to provide the ultimate performance and fit. Retaining the advantages of the existing automatic fitting system of SELFIT™️, this most recent technology allows for additional micro-fitting adjustments through a dial. SELFIT PROTM empowers riders to achieve the ultimate performance by making critical fitting adjustments in real-time. SELFIT PRO™️ is crafted for the most demanding of riders who seek only the best in helmet technology.

5 snap fitting positions provide consistent fitting and comfort for all different types of head shapes and sizes, resulting in a helmet that will ideally adjust for a perfect ride, time after time.

SELFIT PRO™️ allows for micro fitting adjustments through a dial to make sure your helmet is always tight and secure in all conditions.

SLID™️ is the apex of safety technology in cycling helmets, an innovative feature created by HJC that incorporates a special GEL material inside the helmet liner. This technology has been designed to reduce the amount of energy delivered to the brain in the event of an impact, providing a rotating function that minimizes the rotational impact energy on the brain.

The advanced GEL material inside the SLID™️ liner has flowable properties that disperse impact, ensuring maximum safety and protection for riders.

COOLPATH is a new technology replacing the inner padding, allowing the cool air to flow around your head and improving your comfort during the ride. The cool air flow and the lightness of the helmet enhance the fitting and provide an excellent riding experience.

Wind Tunnel Tested
HJC helmets are tested in the laboratory as well as in “real-life” to meet the highest quality standards. HJC is one of the very few helmet companies equipped with its own state-of-the-art wind tunnel laboratory to test aerodynamics, ventilation, noise, and more. The HJC wind tunnel test lab measures the air forces in a variety of riding conditions to improve helmet performance.

Aerodynamic Design
Coming from MotoGP race-helmet design experience, HJC designers and engineers have become experts in aerodynamics and wind ventilated helmets. Aero helmets, as the word implies, are more aerodynamic than the conventional racing bike helmet, but with compromised ventilation performance. With HJC Helmets, this compromise is very much reduced. HJC offers probably the best ventilated semi-aero helmet on the market…. Save Watts with HJC Helmets!

Advanced Air Channel System
A certain amount of air passes through the front air-intake port, then circulates inside the helmet and finally exits through the exhaust port. The internal airflow is then increased to cool the head and evacuate the heat.

Ventury Dynamics
To achieve maximum ventilation, a technical adaptation of Bernoulli’s principle is applied to HJC’s aerodynamically enhanced models. In motion, the rate of surface flow generally increases as it progresses towards the rear of the helmet. Through pressure differences, cool air from the frontal intake is extracted through the rear vent for internal heat dissipation, giving the cyclist optimum ventilation and perfect air flow while riding.

In-mold Construction
In-mold is a method consisting in bonding the EPS together with the outer polycarbonate shell for greater structural strength. This improves the rider’s protection by providing a compact reinforcement and gives the product a perfect finish.

Internal Reinforcement Structure
The helmets are reinforced with an internal frame integrated into the EPS, the skeletal frame not only holds the helmet in one piece, but also makes it stronger and more resistant to protect your head in the event of a collision.

Carbon Reinforcement
A revolutionary enhancement to helmet safety. Made from high-strength carbon fiber, this cutting-edge material guarantees maximum safety. The carbon reinforcement also adds a touch of modern sophistication to helmet aesthetics, combining a sleek design with a lightweight structure.

Feather Light
HJC bicycle helmets are designed and engineered through precise measures to have the lightest weight possible. Density, placement, shapes and materials all play a part in weight optimization.
