THE CORRECT FIT

Cycling jerseys should fit you like a second skin: tight but not too tight. It should be close enough to your skin to avoid chafing and wick sweat away. That being said, there should be no loose fabric which would flap in the breeze when you're riding.

Cycling shorts should fit you snug so it stays in place. If your shorts are too loose, the chamois will move around and get uncomfortable. Bib shorts are more comfortable than regular shorts because they don't need an elasticated waist to hold them up and provides better support.

You should be able to move your legs freely when you're wearing bicycle shorts. If your leg movement feels restricted, the shorts are probably too small.
